Son-Shine

This is my son. Just eight months old. Shouldn't I be proud to be his father? His name is a bit difficult though. 'Swastyayan', meaning 'a ritual that exorcises evil'. Nice name, eh?

Raay bari'r hashiti peyechhey tomar chheley. And I must hasten to add that I really can't ever tell if a kid has his father's nose or his mom's dimples. That, however, doesn't stop me from enjoying the endless debates on this topic between the relatives of the man and the lady,or, if the couple is really possessive, between the man and the lady.

The name's rather good. A bit difficult for tender tongues and jaws, but not impossible. Rather wistful for the parents though. Don't all parents wish to exorcise the ghosts (mistakes) of their pasts through their children? I am sure that an amiable fellow like you will let your children be. Oops sorry, only one child yet!

PS: I'm not really sad for the happy mistake though.
